Who the hell are we?

We're creative with new voices and work with them to find the most engaging way to tell real stories
in an entertaining way.

Between us we have more than twenty-five years’ experience creating and making stand-out, successful content for various terrestrial and digital broadcasters, including: BBC, ITV, MTV, Sky, Channel 4,
Channel 5 and UKTV.  

OK, so we aint bees but like bees we believe in symbiotic relationships and as such, the connection between the story and the storyteller is integral for us.
 
The stories we tell, blossom out of ordinary subjects but the journeys we take are distinctive and born from the inside of underrepresented communities, creating formats for factual entertainment and popular factual shows. 

Bees in the Wood TV has been a beneficiary of Channel 4’s Emerging indie Fund
(Factual Entertainment) initiative.

Bianca Adefarakan-Davies

Co- Founder, MD and Creative Director

Bianca started her TV career at the BBC within the editorial team for BBC THREE and then moved on to programme making and development for a range of independent production companies.


Bianca has more than 15 years’ experience in TV production but for the past 10 years has been focused specifically on devising and developing factual, factual entertainment, entertainment and popular factual TV formats.  She is a powerhouse of ideas and is incredibly strong in building access to stories and communities whose voices are not often heard in the mainstream media. 


Having worked with some of the UK's leading production companies, Bianca has created shows which include: Celebs on the Ranch (Channel 5), Celeb Road Trip (5 STAR), Inside the Vets (W Channel), Inside the Operating Theatre (W Channel), and Fraud Squad NHS (BBC)
